Cultural Studies

There are two new specialties for the Cultural Studies: Media Culture and Journalist Culture.

Specializations:

• Media Culture – movie, television, photography;
• Journalist Culture.

The Cultural Studies course prepares You to work and to build up a professional existence in the multi-cultural Europe in different cultural institutions, in social organizations, donations, tourism agencies and other functioning enterprises on the market of the European Union.

Two interesting specializations can give You work in the modern mass media and in companies, that specialize themselves in mass communication and social communication (for example: advertising agencies, marketing department, info-agencies).

The Journalist Culture offers: the art of discussion and argumentation; elements of stagecraft; arts critique; documentary and journalistic workshops; cultural and social journalism workshops; press law and journalistic ethics. The students learn to work with/on the computer in the journalist’s profession.

The Media Culture’s classes are: traditional, digital and publicity photography; documentary and journalistic workshops; cartoon movies and organizing movie production; elements of stagecraft and movie direction; new media and arts.

The graduates will become the new generation of counselors and animators of culture.

The graduates will also gain a free of charge European Computer Driving License (ECDL is required by employers in counties of the European Union).
