Tourism and Recreation
On October 12th, 2005 Mirosław Sawicki, the Minister of National Education, recognized the rights of the Specialists for Europe University in Poznan to perform the first degree studies, concerning the course of Tourism and Recreation (Decision number DSW-3-WB-4003-700/05, from October 12th, 2000), ending for students with a Bachelor's degree. The Minister wrote the following in his justification: “Considering the position of the National Accreditation Committee, the Minister of National Education sustained, that SfEU is ready to educate students on the course of Tourism and Recreation”. The decision is final.
Specializations:
- Economy in Tourism Management;
- Ecotourism and Agro tourism.
The graduates will acquire skills necessary to work, for instance in: entities for handling the movement of tourism, recreation centers, chalets, sanatoriums, health resorts, on agro- and eco-tourist farms, in education and local governments. They are fully prepared to take up their own business activity. In addition the graduates will:
get a free of charge European Computer Driving License (ECDL is required by employers in counties of the European Union);
gain vocational education and have the opportunity to get certain rights in order to become a tour leader;
have the opportunity to get certain rights in order to become a municipal leader.
