Preservation of Cultural Heritage

There are two interesting specializations You can choose from, while taking up the  study-course Preservation of Cultural Heritage:

 

Specializations:
 

  • Designing and Works Preservation of Artistic Crafts and Useful Arts;
  • Designing and Tissue Preservation.

During the study You can:

 

-       get familiar with the theoretical basics and the practical side of antique restoration (among other things: items restoration of architectural interior decorations of edifice);

-       acquire easel-painting techniques and techniques of composition;

-       learn to make sculptures out of various materials;

-       learn the secrets of tissue and clothes designing;

-       pass the digital and traditional photo-classes;

-       learn to seize the EU-means in order to realize Your own projects;

-       gain antique restorer rights;

-       meet eminent artists and specialists, leading the classes.


The graduates get a free of charge European Computer Driving License (ECDL is required by employers in counties of the European Union) and have the opportunity to gain rights, required from people carrying out their jobs on moveable monuments. They can also prepare themselves for the continuation of the engineering study, in order to gain planning and building laws.

The course is under the patronage of the Polish Artists Association, Polish Useful Arts.
